The Train Park

Grammy had Spring Break and wanted to do something with all of the kids. She Decided to take us to the Train Park in Scottsdale. There were 5 of her Grandkids there and 3 of her nieces. We all had a SO much fun there, Thank you Grammy!!
COOPER was Dying to ride the Carousel!

OK so Maybe I'm a LITTLE too BIG for the Carousel but It wasn't like we could just jump off!! He didn't really like it, even when he was on my lap! :(

But Cooper did like waiting for the Train with Parker . . . And Riding on the "CHOO-CHOO"

Cooper also REALLY liked the slides! It was a little difficult to get him into his car-seat . . . but he slept like a rock on our way home!

But my POOR ALI is cursed with her Father's sensitive eyes. They were watering all day! I really wish we would have remembered her sunglasses! She's the only kid I know that will wear sunglasses every time she goes out in the sun! (In Camron's Defense: He used to get teased all of the time by my brothers for wearing his sunglasses all the TIME even to church. He would take them off when he got in the building, but they would still see him with them on the back of his head or tucked between button up shirt! But really his eyes are sensitive! His dad's are super sensitive too! So I guess it's hereditary?)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I think I may have needed to get out of the house as much as (if not more than) the kids!! I really ENJOYED them! They were so well behaved. Sometimes it's easier for me to enjoy them outside than it is at home . . . Maybe I need to make my home a more ENJOYABLE place?
Cam took the above picture and then said "you're never in any pictures after we go places" but he didn't know that I had already taken a few of my own . . . because I had already noticed that!
Fun at the Park
After Dad and Cooper went golfing, Ali wanted to meet them at the Park with a "Surprise Picnic," So that's just what we did! It has been such nice weather lately . . . I might have ignored a few of my "motherly responsibilities" (laundry, dishes, ect) but it was for a good cause! I love watching them enjoy their childhood! I am so grateful to have a happy, heathy, wonderful family! I cherish every day I have with them. I never knew how much I was loved by my parents, (Both earthly and Heavenly) until I had kids of my own. I want the best for them, just as He wants the best for all of His children!
Golfing with Dad!
Last week Camron was invited to go golfing and he thought it would be fun to take Cooper with him! I dressed Cooper in his Golf shirt just in case he got to go(if Cam didn't go during NAP time). Cam ended up going at like 10, so I asked Cooper if he wanted to go and he was so excited!! He grabbed his hat and shoes and was ready to GO!
COUPONS
I do coupon sense and LOVE it. We are leaving to Pittsburgh in like 4 weeks so I will be canceling because they don't have this luxury in Pit! But I will still find good deals! I'm guessing that this will be my last time doing some SERIOUS SHOPPING before we leave!! Wanted to stock up because groceries are way more expensive there. Especially the dairy products!!!! 3.06 for a gallon of milk . . . everywhere!! Too bad I cant stock up on dairy! Gonna miss you C.S. but I'll start back up when I get back!
So let me share what all I got this weekend! This is not my best shopping trip ever, but I will at least share why I love COUPONS!
FREE: 11 boxes of barilla pasta, 6 toothbrushes, 6 dental Flosses, 6 Colgate toothpastes, 6 Ivory Bar (3pack), 6 Marie Salad dressings, 2 Mazzetta's pasta sauces, 1 jar Mazzetta's banana peppers, 5 paper towels, 3 toilet papers (4 pack), 6 Quaker oatmeal squares cereal.
Everything else cost me $94.80
12 boxes Fruit snacks, 12 Hamburger Helpers, 11 boxes granola bars, 3 bags nut clusters, 18 cans Rosetta refried beans, 4 bags Starburst Jelly Beans (the best), 4 aunt Jamima syrups, 2 pancake mixes, 4 tubs baby wipes, 7 boxes instant oatmeal (10 packets), 14 Boxes Kellogg's Cereals, 4 Boxes Post cereals, 12 snickers bars, 2 Biore Skin care products, 6 Chicken Stir-fry Contessa Meals, and 6 Boxes Tampax Tampons (40 count). I also got 4 lbs strawberries, & 5 lbs red potatoes for another $7 but I didn't use any coupons for that! SO 179 items for $94.80. That is .53 per item and some of those items are expensive! {Like Tampons $7.50 @ WM, the contessa meals 6.99 @ WM, Marie salad Dressing 2.89 @ WM, and the Biore skin care Products 8.99 @ WM!} Those things alone would have cost me $122.34 at WM!!! I'm really gonna miss this!!
Whoops!!
The other night I was making dinner and Cooper and Ali were fighting, so to break it up I called Ali in to the kitchen to come and help mom with dinner! I said "Hold these biscuits and I'll get you a pan to put the biscuits on" She stood there next to me as my 5' 2" body struggled to get a cookie sheet out of my cupboards above my refrigerator (that has no separators in them like I asked for! ---Thank you cupboard guy!!) Anyway, somehow in all of this commotion a candle and candle holder fell off of the top of another cupboard, hit the counter and broke . . . the candles were in these glass containers, so they shattered when they hit the counter and a piece hit Alionna's neck! Her neck started spurting blood and Cam started freaking out!! It took me a minute to realize just how bad it was. I didn't get any pictures of the actual cut but that was because I was running around like a chicken with its head cut off trying to find a butterfly, some super glue and hydrogen peroxide . . . calling doctors to see if they thought we should do stiches or just stick to superglue . . . Nonetheless the superglue worked and Ali is just fine!
This would be the "Doctors working station" where Dr. DAD preformed what he told Ali was a major surgery.
My sad little girl!! But it looks like dad did a pretty good job with his first "surgery" attempt. After she was done and laing on the couch I got my camera out and took these few snapshots. as I was taking them I said I am so sorry Ali it was moms fault . . . So now she shows everyone her battle wound and tells them "My mom cut my neck really bad and then my dad did surgery and saved me!"
Wedding Flowers
Last Saturday we went to Angela's and Allen's wedding, and it was wonderful! Congratulations you guys!! I sure will miss having Angela living with us though! She was so wonderful to have around. My kids just loved her!! And so did I of course!
After the wedding Angela was so sweet and gave Alionna the bouquet! Ali was on cloud nine! Cooper got a rose and they just had so much fun pretending with these flowers!! Ali told us, "I can't marry daddy because he already married mommy, so I will just marry Cooper" Not possible but cute.
He looked pretty handsome with the rose in hand.
"Give me a kiss already!" (Love the hand on the hip!!)
